    Which DVD Discs

    Any comments on which are the best makes of DVD Discs are best for back up copies please?

      jmet's right - TY are good but beware of fake TY media....

      I personally use Verbatim +/-R with MCC dye, used to be a big big fan of Ritek until recently.

        As selling discs is part of my business, Taiyo Yuden seem to be favoured by software developers and Verbatim by the general public, I would agree with both of the above, personal choice would be Verbatim in which ever format you need

          I've used a lot of various manufactures in my business and have settled on either Maxell (matte finish) or Verbatim (in the -R catagory). I like the stability of Verbatim for dual layer work. But for jelly bean stuff, almost anything will work. If you have a rock solid burner like a Plextor or Pioneer, I wouldn't worry too much about the media, but with one caveat, stay away from names you never heard. Prices are ususally a hint. Keep away from $0.50 or less stuff in bulk.
