Connecting TV out on Video card to TV

I have a 64mb nvidia ge force 2 mx with tv out. I don't have a s-video connection on my tv but I have Audio and Video RCA input on my VCR. I am using a s-video signal converter from the s-video on my tv out to my RCA Video input on my VCR. I would think this would work sending a signal through my VCR to my TV. I tried changing my settings on my video card to tv from analog monitor but didn't work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Do you have the option to use a Compsit cable instead of s-video.

And don't you have a SCART connection on you TV?

    scart (nice drawing huh? )

I think it might be a whole lot easier if you could connect you TV-out to your TV directly. There are SCART converters...the same as you have for the Playstation 1.... that you connect your composit video and L-Audio / R-Audio into and the plug it into the TV.

You must also have you TV on when you boot your PC in order for the GFX Card to find it..

    cheers

This turned out to be a bit more problematic...

So you are converting S-video from your pc to a Coaxial into your VCR or perhaps S-vid on your VCR...right?
Then you have a Coaxial from the VCT to the TV right?

I don't know if you can find the frequency for the PC output on your TV... anyone else that knows????

I've only been using TV-out to either S-vid connection on the TV or a Scart converter...then the Output shows up on the AV channel.

Someone else that knows about this in here?!?!??!

        Sorry i could'nt help that much m8...

Well... If the s-video to RCA converter works it looks like its
          possible to get this working.
The video output from should be set to s-video and im not shure that all drivers support dual display so your monitor might go blank when you turn this on.
Next you should set the video to reciev from the RCA input and then set the tv to recieve from the VCR.
