    i-pen for photoshop

My photographer friend does a lot of work in photoshop, but he uses a regular mouse. The work he does is very detailed and tedious. Has anyone ever used an i-pen? And, if so, how do they rate?

I use a Graphire 3 tablet with PS 7, 4x5" and it's great. Amazing things can be done with it, more control than the mouse.

If you do a lot of custom stuff, get one and you won't be disappointed!

      graphire vs. intuos 3

I've heard really good things about the Intuos 3. Is it superior to the graphire? I'd like something that's functional for Photoshop work. I just don't want to get stuck with crap. Know what I mean?

Absolutely! I'm a graphic and web designer and the Intuos is a higher priced brother in the line. Buy both and see what works best for YOU. Check the specs as well.

Remember though, it's the mechanic, not the tools! My sig pic was done in PS 7...The 'best of the best' is great, but can you use the benefit of the higher priced unit?

        Good luck!
