General Observation and advice to newbies

Can I just make a general observation without offending anyone? I am new to this forum and to DVD burning in general. This forum is full of incredible information. I have noticed in reading through these forums that many of the same questions are asked over and over again. It is always easier to just post your question without taking the time to read through the forum but you will find if you take the time to read the forums first, you will not only probably find the answer to your question, but also gain a wealth of knowledge to help in future burning. Thanks to all the moderators on this forum who have tried to help me with my burning problems. Although I have not been able to resolve my problem yet, I am confident that I will. Advice to newbies...please read through the forums and educate yourselves. It will make it easier on those reading through the forum for information and to the moderators who take their time every day to help us all out. Thanks for offering a great forum!

      Would that it were true.

Valid though your suggestions definitely are, based on history, it's unfortunately tantamount to proverbially "spitting in the wind"...
