ive got a movie stored on my computer but it has a .tao extension. i have no idea how to play it. any help would be appreciated.

A few seconds on Google showed that .tao is an ISOBuster file.

It's an image file created by ISOBuster or something like it. You can probably play it with the VLC Player.

If it is a video/audio file try avicodec or Gspot (both free) to open it and see what type of file it actually is
