<TABLE class=tableborders cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=3 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD class=newsubjecttable width="83%"><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top align=left width="70%">I have a bunch of footage taken on some $3000 pro type camcorder...multi chips, etc. I want to get it on my storage device via firewire...but I only have a cheapy $300 miniDV machine...will it be extremely high quality...since it was recorded on a great unit...in other words, is it the recording that matters and playback make no difference? Or do I need a pro unit for accurate transfer to hard drive? The tape quality in ProQuality. Thanks for any advice.
