    Sin City No Sound

    HI,
I have made several backups of my own movie collection. I use 1clickdvd or dvdshrink, even xcopyxpress and never had this problem!! The backup of "sin City" had no problem making the copy, however, when trying to play, I get a notice that my WinDvd ver. 4 software will not play dds (no audio) and to use a different player or get this upgraded. I have tried looking for answers but have not found any! What is dds and do you know a way for me to incorporate it into my software for playing this and other movies that might have this problem in the future? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you very much ,

    Miles

PS The video is perfect after the backup, just no sound!!

seems you need to upgrade windvd to be able to play DTS audio, which is of higher quality than AC3. if you still want to keep using windvd, i suggest you KEEP the AC3 audio, and remove the DTS audio...

if you wish to keep DTS, you will either have to purchase windvd, or download 'media player classic' (its free) from http://www.free-codecs.com and use it instead
