    App to export audio stream from wmv

    virtual dub doesnt do it, need an app to export an audio stream from a wmv file

    There are some programs to export or save an audio stream from a .wmv file. GoldWave is the one that I use to extract and convert to .wav, .mp3, .wma...
    However, GoldWave doesn't convert to .ac3 files which you have to use BeSweet for that

          or you could use microsoft's own program, it comes when you install 'windows media encoder 9', called 'stream editor'. it can separate/combine audio and video streams cleanly, without conversion. if you wish to convert, use goldwave

            Hello
            where would i find out how to put a 50MB mpeg2 video on to my homepage by compressing it.
            i have windows media encoder but it wont do it - says something about missing codec.
