Which software? I'm going NUTS!!

high, just downloaded a trial version of Ulead videostudio 9 which allows me to import my home movie dvd's from the dvd drive on my pc. great function and just what i need. here's my problem, the software is a bit slow and not as advanced as i would like.
do any of you guys out there know if "pinnacle studio 10" or "premiere elements 2" will allow you to import direct from a dvd drive in the pc?

WOOT ULEAD ROCKS!!! That said, what is the problem? It should work great for capturing and editing video. I know it is slow when it comes to burning - so is Pinnacle - I have that too. Use Nero for that (www.nero.com). By the way, if you need a trial of version 8, which frankly I think is better, you can get it here:

Basically, how FileFront works is when you download it, pick a server that has no wait time.
