I cant understand this thread.

First you ask how you also can get early releases of DVDs and then you start to wondering if this could be a problem for the owner of the forum to have such posts in this forum.

It was you who started the discussion and if you are so concerned, why ask?

Just on a point of order here Agatha (we also have LT. Columbo to help on thorny investigations, by the way):

Cinderalla had the 2 ugly step sisters. It was Snow White who was accompanied by dwarfs.

And this thread was not started by doit2it - rather it was split from another thread where a poster asked for some assistance.

I haven't been reading those books for ages. Yes, I'm that old. So I could be wrong on Cinderella.

What a super moderator is I'm not sure about. Perhaps a non dwarf that helps admin.

I think the SuperModerators here wear a red cape and come out of phone booths and help many people There are some that you can not tell they are because they have custom user titles.

Doesn't that put the forum at risk?

We all know (or suspect) that forums like this one are likely monitored by "interested" organizations. If they see that information is being posted regarding DVDs that have not yet been released, isn't it likely that they could give the owner of the forum a hard time about providing information about hacking unreleased videos?

I've read the rules of this forum and some of them seem to be intended to protect the owner from that kind of happening

We had this discussion a while back and just because one is posting about a movie before it's "official" scheduled release does not imply or prove anything.
There is distribution contract where retailers are not supposed to release the
movie early, most abide by that, since it is a civil matter I prefer to apply
the "don't ask, don't tell" rule. Just because some Walmart puts it on the shelf early, are we supposed to report a poster or make a legal judgement.

I don't need a mask, besides it messes up my hair!

In any event, it's up to the owner to decide - this is a digital video forum; one where we help folks with their DV problems and not one where we debate the merits or otherwise of whether posts are bad or not - that is what mods and admins are for.
