I want to use FFDShow to filter and up-convert a saved DVD movie file on my harddrive and resave the filtered up-converted new file. Is there a program that will work with FFDShow to do this? Any suggestions?

download & install the 'october 13 2005' ffdshow from http://www.aziendeassociate.it/cd.asp?dir=/ffdshow
and make sure you install the virtualdub components during setup.
you can then use virtualdub/mod to do the encoding
