    Help Me

Hey everyone, i'm having trouble and I really need help. I made a movie with Studio 9 (DON'T BUY, IT'S COMPLETE CRAP) for my family for christmas. I have all the parts done, and I have exported three different pieces in AVI files. I don't have a DVD burner so I'm trying to send the files to my girlfriend so she can burn them for me onto DVDs. I'm not sure if it is working? The files attachment is taking rediculously long to do, and I don't know if they are actually attaching?
Has anyone sent AVI files over e-mail before? If so, how long does it take? Does it work, or is there a better method? PLEASE HELP ME! I just want a good christmas for my family and this program has had me so stressed out!
    Thanks!

yeah, depending on the size you could even send them or the whole thing via MSN messenger.(free)

Neither me nor my girlfriend have msn messenger, so i hope there is another way.
        As for the file sizes:

        One is 456 bytes
        Two are 485 bytes

If i convert them into WMV files, would there be any way to burn them on DVDs after that? Even if they are less quality..

that's nothing. go to MSN.com you'll see msn messenger there somewhere. sign up, get a passport like it asks you. your GF will have to do the same . then you can share all kinds of files/attachments etc as well as chat one on one in real time.

MSN Messenger is what I use to chat, transfer files between PC's, etc.

485 bytes wouldn't even cover the avi header. I suspect that they are DV and quite a bit larger. You could setup an ftp server or there are heaps of other ways to send files.

I can also suggest RapidShare or YouSendIt for uploading the files. Then you don't have to install software. Just email your girlfriend the URL link, and she can download the file.
