Greetings & yeul tide wishes to all!

I am looking to build a new computer soon (AMD64x & other Goodies) and was thinking of hooking my computer to my DVR & VCR so that I can;
Record vcr tapes to DVD though my computer
Record from my DVR to Computer
House is wired with Cat5e & coax
many of the products offered have USB hookups can I go from USB to Ethiernet?
Any Ideas on Hardware/software recomadations

Try a PCI video capture card. Those typically have RCA and S-Video inputs. Note that you need a video card in order for those to work, most of the time. If you want a USB card, try the Dazzle DVC90 device, that has worked great for me.
