Address Bar in IE

Close this if you can't talk about general tips...

I ran Adaware today and now all my addresses are gone from my address bar. I typed 5 or 6 back in, but then after the 7th one they were all gone again.

Lots of sites on the net discuss how to get rid of things in your address bar....I just want them to stay! But they wont!

Can anyone help?

See if this helps. Go tools, internet options, and the advanced tab. Under browsing see if close unused folders in history and favorites is checked.

or under the general tab in internet options just increase the number of days to keep pages in history.

System restore. There's a registry key where the MRU is kept. Somewhere in HKCU/LM -- Software -- Microsoft -- Internet explorer (I think)

Do you mean out of your history or your Links.If it is just out of your history.You can drag @ drop their icon into the Links connection at the right hand side of the bar or also put them into favourites.Even when my history is cleared it doesn't interfere with that.
