How to turn a big video into a little video?

I have a .mpg file that's 63MB for less than two minutes. I want to shrink the size down without making the video tiny or too grainy to watch.

thatvideosite.com has lots of clips that are a minute or two in length, and are about 5MB. How do I do that?

Try to compress using Xvid codec.Use Virtualdubmod or VirtualdubMPEG for this.

Oh thanks very much ! And lazy that I am , can you give me a link for the VdubmodMpeg from an authentic website ? I know I could do a google search , but I wouldnt know if it was the latest and most bug free link.Surely an expert like you would know and could help !
