anyone know how to use Yamb/MP4box to convert videos?

Im trying to convert an AVI (XviD) video to MP4, so i demuxed the video, but when i ttied to do the same with the audio it showed up as an unsupported file ".raw"
please help!

why in the world would you want to convert avi to mp4? i don't see a reason.

but, yamb/mp4box does not convert videos, just places/muxes them in the mp4 container.

use virtualdubmod to demux the video, then audio, both to separate files. then use yamb

how do i demux with virtualdubmod so i can mux it with yamb?

nah, i tried mpg and mpeg and niether work
but ill try this program and see if that works
but the whole reason i was demuxing and muxing was because when i would convert it, after the first 20 mins the sound would get off
