What's RPC2?

Nero says my drives have Region Control II, and Region Code 1....whats the difference between the two?

The region code is the current setting on which region your drive has been set to.

The RPC II region control is the function that is allowing the user to change the driver's region code at most 5 times.

and why would I need that capability? to change region codes..that is.
FYI.. I worked for Tetra-Pak for a looooooooong time, ever hear of it?

If you decide to move to Lund, Sweden where it all started. Then you need to change it to region code 2 if you want to be able to use it for the DVD's you are going to buy in Sweden...
