Some of my movies have some scratches in them and when i go to back them up... it will copy to the hard drive fine but my backup copy will have glitches and skips in it. I was wondering if somebody could point me in the direction of a program that checks this. As to say a program that will tell you if you have a decent copy or not. Preferably freeware or a free trial version would be preferable. Thanks... also if you guys have some trick that would help fill in or buff out those scratches you could post about that also... Thanks

no their is some glitches in them on the hard drive also.... the thing is i'm in the process of backing up my movies and i don't want to have to check every disc to make sure it is a clean burn... i wouldn't mind doing an extra step and putting them through something to see if any of the files are corrupted or anything....Comment

I have Cd Repair Pro electric motorized. After much research, found Brasso works as well as the commerical compounds. People have used Brasso since its introduction to polish plastic and it now lists plastic as a use on the label. Some rental stores will repare them for a fee depending who you catch on duty maybe free. They have expensive machines. You can also hand polish but dont go in a circle. After I bought this machine, I was pumping gas and saw a cd face down on concrete, so picked it up and put it to the test asit was very scratched up. It worked but music is not my style.
