I tried a few of the places i usually shop at. and they only have 8X discs. Your better off burning at a lower speed. like sillygoose said, the higher the rate the more of the chance for a problem
happy burning
Media is designed to be burnt at the speed it is rated at. At least quality media is. It is quite possible to get more errors by burning at a slower speed.
Pretty sure I have seen MCC 16X Lightscribe discs.
Does seem overkill though since Lightscribe itself is only 4X isn't it? Couple of minutes to burn the disc, then 15-30mins to print. Who cares about 16X vs. 8X when printing is going to take so long?
Much cheaper and quicker just to get some nice 16X inkjet discs, probably even if you also had to buy a printer. Lowest model CD/DVD enabled Canon isn't much these days, but I guess you still can't get them in the US.
