        still have a small problem

well i tried to make a screen shot and i guss it worked out but not exactly the way i wanted it to. I changed the name of the file to .doc and pressed attach from the post then on my thread ther was a little attachment but you have to click on it to see it. Youcould see it on the codec forum under powerplay but i would like it to be right there on the post like the link you gave me did with dvd shrink. Hope you could help me

after you use the printscreen button(whole screen) or
          alt+prntscreen(the open window on top)
open paint then paste then save as .png
          go advanced then manage attachments

          edit in blue thanks drf

Actually open Paint then paste and then save as a PNG.
            Just a small correction

              printscreen button>paint>save png>host imageshack(hotlink forum1)>copy/paste link.

              easy as A, B, C.

and if you've had enough of crappy paint, and wish to do much better,

                  get the freeware 'xnview'.

paste (ctrl+shift+v), crop, resize, whatever (which you can't do well in paint), and save as png/jpg (much better than pain'ts png/jpg compression, if you can call it that)

by supporting crappy paint like that, you're showing your naivety, drf!. don't judge till you've thoroughly used both programs.

Erm... not much into image editing, I don't even own Photoshop

I like Paint cuz of ease to use and that it comes with Windows.

So there is a better program. Big deal. That's why Ulead is overlooked. Ulead is a great program, but people like "better" programs better

                              LOL!

When I was at the library last week, I saw another volume of the Columbo series on the shelf... too bad it was disc 4 or I woulda checked it out

What is the series even about? Crime solving?
