What's up guys. I have a question, is there any program out there that allow you to convert digital rights management (DRM) media to wave?

Not always. Most DRM files, such as those downloaded from Wal-Mart and Napster, allow a certain number of burns to a CD. Simply burn them to a CD using either Windows Media Player, or Nero or Roxio or something else (AUDIO MODE). Then use a CD ripping program to rip as an MP3 file, and then convert to WAV.
I just figure, if you are allowed to burn the files, they become any other ordinary audio CD, which can be ripped to MP3. Whether this is legal or not, I do not know, but that's how to do it.
I mean, why wouldn't it be legal? You DO pay for the songs...
Please, I am not sure on this, so don't quote me.CYA Later:

by drm, he likely means microsoft wma. you cannot play drm content unless you have an active internet connection and obtain the license, let alone convert it. no program will accept the wma file.
Then use a CD ripping program to rip as an MP3 file, and then convert to WAV.Comment

Now, does it need to reencode? What I mean by this is, a program like Nero Wave Editor - just open and save as something else (if it's not DRM). Whereas burning to a CD and ripping is reencodingCYA Later:

no, burning to a cd is unavailable. "Taxi" just directly converts from one format to the other in spite of DRM!Comment

It has a 30 second restriction... any other ideas?CYA Later:
