Problem viewing AC divx files

I've got some Divx files encoded with the AC3 sound format, and Windows Media Player and tha Playa are not able to play those files with sound (I can only see them).

Anyone knows what codec or software I need to be able to hear the sound from those files?

You will require the AC3 codec---do a search on google.com---it may also be included in the numerous codec pack available at divx-digest.com

You could also install a software DVD player, if you have one. WinDVD or PowerDVD are recommended.

After assistance from Enchanter with the same problem as yourself I d/loaded the NIMO codec pack and everything was cool.
