1:50 movie 4.0 GB / 1:52 movie 5.6 GB. why?

    1:50 movie 4.0 GB / 1:52 movie 5.6 GB. why?

    there's only 2 minutes difference... why such a big change in size? audio size different?

    Depends on source, encoding quality, matrix used and encoder.

    Please give as much details as you can on the conversion process.

      well i haven't converted it yet. i just ripped the movies on my hd without compression.

        Well then it could be any combination of what Tech said. There may be alternate audio tracks ( DTS is normally much larger than DD ) A higher bitrate video source is the most likely.

          More than likely it is the bitrate in which the video was encoded in.
