Taelon as I said I would try this muxman out of curiosity.So I downloaded it from your link. ver 0.41g .So please tell me how does this help?
I does not appear to accept avi files. only .m1v m3v mpv

Yes, you're right. Muxman requires the video to be in an mpg container, I generally use TMPGenc for the video only, then mux the .m2v with the .ac3 files in muxman. Sorry about the confusion.
