    Connecting Laptop to Sony KDF-E50A10

My laptop has S-Video TV-Out , DVI-I, and video connector (which looks like VGA)..what would be the best way to connect my laptop to this TV here for the BEST picture quality possible:

with this TV wither VGA or DVI-I depending on which your TV has, It has a PC Input so definately 1 of these. DVI-I is better if you have it otherwise VGA will still give you a high definition, high quality display, much better than S-Video etc...

exactly the same connector which goes into your laptop, most TV,s only have VGA though but this is a high quality TV so it may have the DVI-I connector, it only says PC Input on the info for it.

when it says PC input, looking through the manual, it's VGA not DVI unfortunately

it also has HDMI but not a DVI connector

That doesn't matter, you'll get a superb picture through VGA anyway, make sure the screen resolution is set to match your TV and away you go!

you can get DVI-I to VGA adapters but the easiest way would be to get a standard monitor lead (i.e VGA to VGA) and do it this way. As far as audio is concerned your TV has 2 3.5mm jack plugs, one at the front and one at the back, simply run a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio lead from the output on you laptops sound card to the input on your TV!

Just a FYI ... Your "windows" graphics will look fine, but laptops are notorious for poor video quality in so far as movies are concerned when the picture is blown up on a large TV. A cheap standalone DVD player would surely have better video quality on your TV than a laptop would.
