dear locoeng - well i think you most definitatly won the arguement boot (debate?) abot tdk discs
as gd8ck sayas - its defenitaly a turkey shoot
ive actually found i can use these discs if i keep the speed down to 2x and only fill to about 95 %
which like you say probably means lack of quality as it probably means theyve been underspun in manufacture
i could just avoid them - but as i have this trub with quite a few discs
i reckon i might try out some other firmwares

you are using stock firmware I would hope it's 2.1A
