ok i ripped a vhs onto a dvd-RW (IMATION brand) ok it wont play in my ps2 nor play on the computer. but it does play on my fathers sv2000 who eva makes that. also it doesnt play in our go video just says check disc, what can i do to make it play on the computer, b/c if i get it on the computer i can burn it to any disc.

Is your fathers SV2000 this device? Chances are, when you ripped the VHS over to the DVD-RW that you have two possibilites: First, did you 'Finalize' the DVD-RW when the burn was finished? Second, the other players you are trying to play on may not support DVD-RW.
