Hmmm... isn't Alcolho 120 for making ISOs tho?
And CloneCD has a "protected game cd" option that emulates the weak sectors. When copying LOTR it did that, which makes the computer think it's still copy protected.CYA Later:

I vote for alcohol 120% and maybe Blindwrite as a supplemental tool. Though I used alcohol 120% to make a backup image (ISO) of Sims 2 and of Chessmaster 9000 so I could load them in the virtual drives (they're play discs) and not HAVE to use the originals.
For the two titles (Sims 2 and Chessmaster 9000) you have to use NEW SECURE ROM profile.
Edit: I was able to backup the play disc for Unreal Tournament 2004 (using the above to create the play disc) then burned using Alcohol %120 and the backup disc worked just fine too. There are methods to get it to work and a few web sites that discuss the more difficult titles.
Regards,
Cam

I couldn't get blindwrite to work. It made a CD but when inserted into the drive, just kept spinning and overheating... My Computer never saw it as a valid CD. My solution was CloneCD... but my success storirs seem to be different from most people.CYA Later:
