    Encoding finished, I have my RealMedia file with subtitles. Many thanks to all who took the time to read this and to offer suggestions. With best wishes!

      Yeah, exactly if a plugin is in the plugin dir. You don't need to load it at all. No loadplugin() line. Without a path I would imagine that it checks the current path as it does for avisource(), etc. Might also work if the file was in a system path like system32, etc.

        I see, interesting. Anyway, I have what I need for this job, but next time I need to run scripts I'll be sure to explore this further. Thanks again for help.
