Are vtv files only for ipod?

I want to download a torrent but it has vtv files in it.I dont want to waste time downloading the thing only to find it doesnt play on my pc.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The files might be intended for iPods, but an mp4 is just an mp4 and as you have found out, MPC has an internal mp4 splitter, also an aac decoder. No MPEG-4 or AVC decoder though. But ffdshow can handle that and is also free.

Fact is though that these files are probably re-encodes from an XviD avi rip.
