I am getting ready to make a highlight DVD for a high school football team. Last year I made one for a basketball team using Windows Movie Maker 2. The problem with using MM2 is that it is unable to accurately save a project as anything better that high quality NTSC.
What is high quality NTSC? Is this mpeg1, or windows media video? I am unsure of what actual format it is. Either way, this compromise leaves me with less than stellar video quality.
I need good quality because most football highlights are at a distance so quality is paramount. So this leaves me with some questions.
1. Should i continue to try and use MM2 or should i go to something else?
2. I am consdering using Ulead Studio instead. Is this a good program?
3. What format should I save my movie in before converting to mpeg2 to go to DVD?
Maybe the obvious answer is mpeg2. Maybe Ulead studio has that option? Currently I am having to encode it with Tsunami after i take it out of MM2.
Thanks for any help.
