Converting Windows Media files into DVD

I was wondering if anyone knows how to convert some Windows Media Players files so that they can be play on a dvd disc in a home dvd system. I'm lost and don't know what to do. If anyone knows what to do it would be appreciated.

    Hi

If you have many files to convert, maybe the easiest solution is to buy a standalone able to play also divx-wma files. There are rather affordable players now available. I bought one for 40 euro (about 50 USD).

use avisynth directshowsource() and load into mpeg2 encoding app of your choice

              something like:

              directshowsource("c:\video.wmv", fps=xx)
or you could just do a forum search
