      avc? all i know is it's .mov and i watch it on the browser using quicktime alternative plugin... plays fine. but if i download it and watch it on a player like media player classic it freezes on certain parts of the clip (these are not all .mov's, just some)

      here is some info on the file;

      Video : 6.0 MB, 214 Kbps, 10.395 fps, 352*240 (4:3), WMV2 = Windows Media Video V8

        The codec for the player that gives you problems may not be the right one for the file you are trying to play

          but i play other .mov files fine from the same site i downloaded the ones that freeze. tried vlc, it gives me weird colors, green, purple blocks, sometimes just all grey. but you can hear the audio. something in the .mov's that freeze are different. i don't know what it is but i must get it to work. it plays on the damn browser but not on the player... it can't be the clip that is corrupt.
