    Real Video Editing tool

Hi, I'm looking for a Real Video (.rm) editing tool with which I could input rm files, copy, paste, cut and have a rm output and/or (better) a QuickTime output.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Take a look here and see if you find something useful

Download free video and audio software. Old versions, user reviews, version history, screenshots.

You may have to convert RM to more editable format, in which case try this.

If you must have RealMedia, what I suggest is, convert to AVI and then edit in Ulead Video Studio, and export as an RM.

For real media editing you could try R.E.V.E.
I'd definatly go with AVISynth though since you are planing on re-encoding anyway.

              Thank you all!

Thank you all for so many and so precious replies but I forgot to tell you guys (sorry for that) I'm using a Macintosh PPC, MacOS 10.4.6 and all those softwares are for Windows.
If anyone knows of a Mac software that could do the job, please tell me.
Sorry for taking so much time to reply.

Well all the cross platform tools like mencoder, ffmpeg, helix producer should work I guess.

mencoder using http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/rel...041107.pkg.zip is probably about the only way to convert to an editable format under OSX.
