DVD image help

Hey, I have a question about shrinking a 4.0 gb dvd .iso image file. I want to shrink the 4.0 gb file to about 650 mb (cd-r size), so i can burn it onto a cd-r... then transfer it onto another computer and unshrink it back to 4.0 gb again. Is that possible??
If you can help me out i will really appreciate it!

No. Once the data is "taken out" of the file, it can't be replaced. In other words, you can't "zip up" a DVD. Sorry.
