Help!!!

I am not sure if anyone can help me. I was given nero and have loaded it in to my computer I am trying to burn dvd's but just can not get it working. I have been on every site possible and am just getting nowhere.

Can anyone please help me through so I can burn dvd's. I have a dual layer dvd if that makes a difference sorry if I am acting a bit dense but just new at this.

Can you give more details?

What happen exactly? Do you see an error message? What error?

What burner do you have exactly? What discs are you trying to burn?

I am just totally dense in how to set it all up. Just got it and have downloaded movies using bear share. I have a dual layer dvd emprex 16x. I am trying to burn the movies on to dvd-rw 2 x 4.7gb. When I follow the insstructions I get as far as trying to move the files to the new compolation but they are not going and it does not give me the burn option. A friend also said I have to change the length so I can get more on the dvd.

Sorry to be so dense but as I said completely new at this.

If I understand correctly, you have some avi files and you are trying to burn then as a video dvd. Is it correct?

yes. I have downloaded movies from bearshare and I would now like to burn them on to a dvd using nero that someone has given me.

"I have downloaded movies from bearshare" - this is piracy and against forum rules, as well as copyright law. Please confine your questions to movies that you own.
