Here is a website for using Japanese characters if you don't have them. You can't use the translators unless your PC can recognize Kanji, Katakana, or Hiragana.



I think Chinese would be the same way.

I am not sure if you are trying to see sites in Different languages or translate languages. If you want to be able to see sites in all languages i would suggest downloading this browser and it has tools to be able to view in other languages it is much faster than most browsers that i have found and is free http://www.avantbrowser.com/ after downloading open the browser and go to tools then translate and i think you will find it does what you are looking for ...

Now that we got started on this topic, I can't seem to get Japanese characters on my PC. I know you can download from MS, but it only works if you have Office XP. Any suggestions? I would love to send a letter to Grandma that didn't take me 3 painstaking hours to write!
