    Pinnacle 9

    Hi!

Ye! My first post! Please help!

I am using Pinnacle Studio 9 at school. I was fine with the video tranfer through firewire. however, our new dvd camera has not PC connection. So, I am editting from the mini disc. However I am confused with the files and how to get them into Studio. The files on the dvd are VOB, IFO and BUP. Do I have to convert these? and if so how do I do this?

Thanks in anticipation of your brilliant replies!

      Hi paglamon!

Thanks. Did this but...then pinnacle doesn't play the clip when I transport it into the editing bar. The thumbnail is there. i drag it down. It appears, but when i try to play, nothing happens. This is happening both on my school PC and at home which is more powerful. Any suggestions?

So the fault does not lie with Pinnacle. The clips r somehow not quite right. Can u attach or upload the smallest clip so that I can have a look into the problem?
