A question bout posting here

Your format here is a little different from the other sites that I visit, I can copy pertinent information (links, quotations,etc.) and add these to my posts by pasting, I can't seem to figure out how to do this here. The closest that I've found so far is to add it as an attachment which requires prep work to get it to that destination.

Am I missing something here?
