Calling all geniuses!

I am using MicroDVD player to play a Divx file. When I use the INI Editor to create it for the movie (so I can play subtitles and chapter stuff) when I load the movie it comes back saying

Unable to process INI File!
Missing ID Line
Line Number : 1

I have remade it alot. First manually, then with the INI Editor to create it. I followed the Wizard and made it (as a test) simple, no subs or anything, just an INI file and i STILL get this message. Can't find it on google or any forums or the help that came wiht it. Please help...I'm so close to finishing this! (Yes I renamed it MDVD.INI and it is a true INI file)

Are you sure you didn't inadvertently rename it "MDVD.INI.TXT"?

Yes, quite positive. It was created exactly as said in Nicky's Guide and the help file that came with it. That's why this is so frustrating...
