Ok, done. Oh, and btw, Morgaine is fine
I tried playing it again in Media Player Classic but still nothing, though probably that wasn't what I was suposed to do. But it is downloaded and installed. What would you have me do now?

MPC doesn't need anything just as already covered, the output needs to be set to VMR7/9 renderless or Haali's renderer.

VSFilter and MPC are both part of guliverkli and share a lot of code.

Done. Haali's renderer was not a choice, but I tried both VMR7 and 9 - still no subbies.
Thanks for the input in an case, celtic_druid - *wonders: hmmm, are there druids that aren't celtic?*
        Regards

Haali is only an option if you have it installed. Needs a high end graphics card to work properly though. Speaking of graphics cards. Make sure that VMR7/9 are actually being used, because if your graphics setup doesn't support it, then VMR7/9 renderless won't be used, even when enabled.

dvobsub on the other hand works fine in overlay (subs don't look as nice). So if the subs won't load with it, then I guess it is something else.

              Ok...
Question: how do find out if my graphics setup supports VMR7/9 - which I don't even know what it is, I found it and I enabled it, but that was all ?
Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "overlay" - the subtitles over the video file? Isn't that how they are always done? If the question is too stupid, don't bother...
              Thanks for your help.
              Regards

                  OK.Mystery solved !!!

Ur subtitle file is not in the correct format.I have corrected the first three subtitles for you. These three subtitles should now play correctly wth ur avi.Correct the rest of the subs accordingly and u should be ok.Here is the corrected file:The.Da.Vinci.Code.TELECINE.Divx-Loki.CD1.zip

                    Paglamon, can I say...
                    I LOVE YOU!!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
                    Yes!!! I have subtitles!!!
So, I'm assuming that now all have to do is burn them with my AVI file into a disc, and suposedly, it will play in my SAP?

And THANK YOU SO MUCH. Again.
