Connect dvd player at TV without euroscart or rca

    Hi,

I want to buy a Dvd Player. The problem is that my TV doesn't have euroscart, rca or other's out.... It has ONLY the antenna jack

I want to know if exists a posibility to connect the dvd player at the TV,to view the images and hear the sound from the TV? Intermediate by a VCR or a kind of adaptor ? I don't know...

I'm not sure where you are because you mention Euroscart. Back in the day when I had an older black and white TV that had the screw terminals for antenna, my TV also came with an adapter that put the screw-type cable connector to it. Check here to see what I'm talking about. Click the "Enlarge Image" clicky-bit.

You should then be able to connect an RF Converter to this, and then connect the DVD player to that converter.

    Regards,

I'm from Romania (a little village in the mountains of Europe )

Here, the euroscart it's at beginning. We have some color TV imported from U.S but the rest of 70% are in black and white. We are verry poor

Anyway,i will try your method, but i need to keep my money a week and make a trip, about 700km(a liitle smaller than miles)in other village,to buy a thing like that.

In november i will have my personal dvd player compatible with my tv...oh boy oh boy

bye bye know,my 1/4 of hour at the internet it's gone. And here Internet Cafe's are very expensive ...about 12$/hour...

        ...
Your TV input must be either a 2-lead input or coaxial cable input.
If it is 2-lead, get the adapter Cambion7 suggested above.
All modern DVD players have a video output.
A coaxial video cable between the TV's cable input
and the DVD player's video should take care of your
        connection issue.
All you need now is to tune the TV to the DVD player's
        output channel frequency.

            @Andixxl,
As Cambion7 suggested,RF converter is ur best bet.I use one myself.Ur DVD player's AV OUT cables go into the Converter's AV IN.Then use a RF cable to connect the RF OUT from converter to the RF IN(antenna hole) of ur TV.

Yeah what Paglamon said. Thanks for the clarification. This is the method I use to connect a DVD player to our bedroom TV that has cable connectors but no A/V inputs. Works like a champ!
