They have 2 soft wheel buffers and a fancy machine that uses a wet abrasive process to clean and polish discs. If I owned a disc and my attempts at home failed I would have them try the buffer, but as others have stated a phone call to BB customer service would be the way to start. Its their problem not yours. Just my .02
