Simple DVD edit software

I don't want an elaborate multimegabyte authoring program.

I was wondering if there is any software that will simply allow you to mark segments of a large mpeg file and delete them.

That's all I want to do do....just cut out snippets, save the modified file for reburning and nothing else.

I use MPEG-VCR or MPEG Video Wizard which is commercial but it works wonderfully. They come in a trial

There is also MPEG StreamClip. This is freeware and has the functionality you want. It saves back as a mpeg file. It does require Quicktime or Quicktime Alternative (freeware) installed as well.
