I don't use Image Grabber II.NET. Just please tell me what do you want to use it for, save some bitmap or jpeg images from .wmv files? You can do that by using the Save Image function in Media Player Classic

I know that but Image Grabber gives you an ouput .jpeg wallpaper sized image of all the captures you took from the video which i need.

Have you tried Image Grabber II which uses DirectX instead of Microsoft .NET and see if the error still appears:

hmm the one with DirectX tells me I dont have DirectDraw installed:

I then downloaded Image Grabber I and it seems to work fine but it doesnt give me a preview and doesnt support all video formats so thats a downgrade. If i could get IG II.NET working again that would be great it was working once before.

unfortunatly that function no longer works for me, there are no restore points being created/none in the calender... even though i have about 12 Gb free space

About DirectDraw error, please check to be sure that you currently have DirectX 9.0c. Go to Start > Run > Type: dxdiag and click OK. The info on System tab will show you that. Also go to the Display tab to test the DirectDraw. Please check your graphics card driver if update needed

                Regards

Yes, I did mentioned the Window Media Classic for the snapshot function in post #2 of this thread. That's what happened when you didn't read the information or answer completely or carefully
