    Combining Subtitles With Divx File?

Hi, I'm totally new to this, I recently downloaded the DVD rip of Brotherhood of the Wolf. A way cool show... and the only thing is there are no subtitles. I was wondering if there is a way to combine the subtitles file i've downloaded with the DivX file? Rather than having to use an external application, and the subtitle file? Backing up into a CD-R for future use, I don't want to have to install stuff to watch the show on a friend's computer.... could anyone help me out here?

You can combine thew sub with the video by recompressing the whole video and insert the sub into the video as a graphic. Recompressing would cause a little (or maybe big) loss of quality. I would use BSplayer with a bat or ini-file (read BSplayer-documentation) and the executable player on the cd. That would let you start the movie on nearly every windows-pc without any installing.

oh ok, thanks a lot for taking the time to reply to this newb. If that is the case, I guess i'll have to use something like divx subtitle player.... i'd rather have to install than lose the quality of the video. Thanks a lot again!
