First of all, I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong forum.
The following are the settings I've used to capture VHS video for DivX with very good results:
352 x 480
29.97 fps
44k/16/s
uyvy yuv 4:2:2 interleaved
I can capture about 2 hours of video on an 80gig HD.
Recently I installed a DVD burner and I want to put some home movies onto DVD. Can anyone suggest settings that will help me get the best possible capture for my DVD's? (I realize they will be only as good as the tape itself, but I would like to retain as much of the original quality as possible.)
Thank You.
