question about streaming video

hi.. im trying to create a show and broadcast it live over the internet. ive tried streaming with programs such as VideoLan and Windows Media Encoder but i'm not quite sure if theyre the correct program that i want to use. I'm trying to find software that allows me to broadcast video live from my digtal video camera and also allows me to switch, from that, to other video files that i have on my harddrive. i'm not even sure if there is software out there that can do that.... my question is: does anyone know of any software like that?

I have not used it but have heard of "camtasia" Try a google of it and check out the information.

alright thanks.. i acutally found a different program, but if this one seems to fail ill try that
