Problems playing a movie

Hello I have lurked for a while but never asked anything. I am really new to all of this hence why I am posting the the Newb area.

I have V for Vendetta, all I really wanted to do was watch it on my computer but when i hit the play button I get A disk with an unsupported format in drive D: I have Nero Power DvD that came with my Dvd drive. Is there some kind of copy protection that will not allow me to watch this on my computer? Under My Computer It does not show up as being in the drive either.

Kind of wierd I have gone and played it fine on both of my dvd players in my house. It is in Widescreen format so it looks alot better on my Computer monitor. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the dvd. My player plays everything else fine so far until this one.
