i know i did this about 4 months ago...but i can't find the thread with the solution. i believe i used wmrecorder...but it doesn't like me now. would like to convert a html video into something useful.

ok...got it...was able to save a downloaded copy as a gif and convert that with msmm. -

what i downloaded had an .htm extension...but it identified itself as a gif...so i "saved as" the downloaded file and it showed up as a .gif...which i converted with movie maker to .wmv...which i converted to .mpg using TMPGenc
